The Darfus Family Update - February 2020

Dear friends,

Happy February!

Thank you to everyone who prayed for our January Leadership In Training teen camp. We were excited to have 16 teens attend. The camp included great messages on the kingdom of God, worship, team-building exercises, mind-stretching puzzles, fun, good food, and an opportunity for the kids to volunteer at a “Feed my Starving Children” site. It was great seeing Native kids we had met when we were here during the summers.

Wednesday evenings we have begun attending “The Gathering,” a Native American led Bible study here on campus. It has been wonderful to learn to know people better through the carry-in meal, study of James, time of worship, and time of prayer.

Elijah and Josiah are doing well in school. Elijah has joined the tech crew for the school’s upcoming musical, “Shrek.” We are thankful he is adjusting well.

Thank you all for your prayers. We look forward to seeing what God is going to do in the month of February as we start to do follow up with the Native campers!
