May 2022 Update

We appreciate you and God is using you to make a difference.
Here’s an update on a few special events that happened in the month of April.
Santa Rosa discipleship class
It was a blessing to attend a discipleship class held at the Santa Rosa Outreach. Our role is to provide support and prayer for these classes. It is great to see members of the church step up and lead these classes for the children in their community! Please pray for encouragement for the leaders and attendance of the children for the remaining discipleship classes.
Hickiwan Gospel Outreach event
Christ Fellowship Community Church held a Gospel Outreach event at their church in Hickiwan. The church was festive with decorations. Games were played and songs were sung before the Gospel was presented. The children were excited. Please pray that the children in attendance will come back for all 12 discipleship classes to learn more about following Jesus.
Easter
It was so nice to spend Easter with our 3 children and three of Noah’s college friends. Holidays are always tough being away from our loved ones in Ohio.
Teen weekend camp
It is because of the generosity of others that we can have camps where the teens learn more about Jesus. Fourteen teens attended camp where the lessons were on different types of Worship: Song, Giving, Prayer, & Joy. The teens were able to participate in rock climbing, zip lining, and kayaking in the beautiful outdoors of Prescott, Arizona. Please continue to pray that camps are a successful avenue for bringing Native children closer to Christ.
Elijah’s graduation
Elijah is a senior! He has been stressed with all the work to be done while having “senioritis.” His last day of school is May 14th with graduation held on May 19th. We are thankful to have some family fly in to stay with us for the big event. Please pray that all goes well and for safety for our traveling family.
