Day 39

One of the activities that we do different in elementary camp from teen camp is Reading Time. This is an opportunity for the children to sit with an adult 1-on-1 (or up to 3-on-1) and read a book. This is valuable quality time with the campers that I really enjoy.

I have been in charge of Recreation Time this week. With 59 campers it has stretched me to think of games that everyone enjoys and that keeps all of them engaged. Although the energy level is high and the campers keep us on our toes, it has been a real blessing to serve. I love these children. They are a great group of individuals.
