Day 30
Today we enjoyed worshipping at Turning Leaf Community Church in Glendale, Arizona. Nancy Butler, one of the dear missionaries at SIMC, attends there and invited us to join her. Their worship team sang some of the same songs as we do at Faith Memorial. It was a nice little reminder of home.
We were so blessed to be given tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Colorado Rockies baseball game. Thank goodness the ballpark is indoors! The Rockies tied the game at the top of the 9th inning but the Diamondbacks pulled off the win in the bottom of the 9th. It was a fun time that was made even better with cotton candy, cold Pepsi, and a snow cone. :)
Our time here is coming to an end too quickly! This week we prepare for Elementary Camp. Noah flies home on Saturday, Lord willing. (He is leaving early for marching band.) :(
Elementary camp begins Sunday. Then one week from this coming Saturday we start home. I can’t quite wrap my head around that.
