Day 24

Camp is underway!

What a great group of teens we have again this week!

So you can get an idea of a typical day of what the teens do and what I do, I thought I’d go through the schedule.

---

7 am - Wake up and showers

8 am - Put the flags up, say the pledges

8:10 am - Eat breakfast

9 am - Teens: Worship songs, Bible story skit, group reflection, object lesson Me: Clean the dorm showers & restrooms

10 am - Recreation. Today was a volleyball tournament. I helped referee the games.

11 am - Teens: Attend one of four classes… Art class (make a tie dye t-shirt), Bible class, Cooking class (make Tuesday nights camp dinner), or Drama class (make a photo powerpoint for a Bible story skit). Me: Teach Bible class

12:10 pm - Lunch

1 pm - Teens: Chill Out Time. (They stay quietly in their bed. Some nap, some draw, many play on their phones.) Me: Check email & nap

1:45 pm - Teens: Attend one of four classes… Me: Teach Bible class

2:45 pm - Teens: 20 minute snack (popsicle), 20 minute small group devotional, 20 minute relax or play games in dorm. Me: Set up/Prepare for recreation

3:45 pm - Recreation. Today was some get-to-know-you games and some volleyball or basketball.

5 pm - Dinner

5:50 pm - Take down the flags

6 pm - Teens: Worship songs, Bible story skit, group reflection, object lesson Me: Help my sons clean the cafeteria

7:30 pm - Go to the swimming pool

9:45 pm - Take a shower, eat a snack, play games in the dorm

11 pm - Lights out
