Day 5
“O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me…
You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.”
(Psalm 139: 1, 3)
We had the enjoyment of staying last evening in Breckenridge, CO. What a beautiful town! I hope at some point in my life we can go back. Noah has decided he will live there some day, but after looking at the cost of housing, Doug and I decided he will need to win the lottery first.
Lord willing, we will be in Peoria tomorrow night. It seems like it has taken an awfully long time to get there, but I do enjoy the travel time. We have witnessed God’s blessings in multiple ways:
protection when the semi truck in the lane next to us decided the lines are just suggestions and he wanted to drive in both lanes simultaneously
safety while driving on rainy, curvy mountain roads
the beauty of His creation, so evident in the Rockies!
peace between the brothers (at least most of the time)
finding more places on the road that I can have a good meal (traveling with Celiac’s Disease can be frustrating)
Thanks again for any prayers that have been offered up for our family.
