Day 3:

Well, it’s my turn to write the blog, but it’s not going to be easy. It’s not that there isn’t anything to write about, its just that not everything is pleasant. We headed off from somewhere in Oklahoma called Tulsa, and ended up in Amarillo, Texas.

We stopped at a giant cross, saw a leaning water tower that would put Pisa to shame, saw four old beat up VW Beetles that were nose first in the ground, and ended up with dinner at the Big Texan, home of the “Free 72 ounce steak” (as long as you can eat it in under an hour). It wasn’t all fun and games in-between; Texas is a big state, and has very long stretches of land between everything (or at least it seemed that way). Not every drive was peaceful, but luckily for us, you don’t have to be perfect to be called to do God’s work.

That’s all I have for today, so until my next turn to write, God bless, and I promise I will have a funny sign off by next time.
